Activities are expected to begin at 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the association, the rally is designed to promote cultural awareness, strengthen unity among members and create awareness about the forthcoming Annual Cultural and Coronation Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants have been encouraged to attend in white Akwocha or other traditional native attire as a way of showcasing the customs, traditions and cultural identity of the Aniocha and Oshimili people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The association&#8217;s leadership called on members, supporters and the university community to participate actively in the event, describing it as an opportunity to celebrate indigenous heritage, promote cultural pride and foster unity among students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organisers said the rally, themed around the slogan, &#8220;Awareness, Heritage, Unity, Pride,&#8221; will feature colourful displays of traditional attire, cultural interactions and activities aimed at preserving and promoting the values and traditions of the Aniocha and Oshimili people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cultural rally is one of the major activities lined up ahead of the association&#8217;s Annual Cultural and Coronation Day, which is expected to attract students, alumni, invited guests and cultural enthusiasts in celebration of their shared heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Blessing Agbogu The Aniocha\/Oshimili Students Cultural Association (AOSCA), Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka Chapter, has announced plans to hold a cultural rally ahead of its 2026 Annual Cultural and Coronation Day.
