The salon had a protective gate and a glass door, which restricted proper ventilation within the premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A female customer who visited the salon while the generator was running reportedly became uncomfortable and left the shop to take medication due to a health condition related to high blood pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon arriving home, the customer informed her husband that she felt unwell and noticed an unusual smell while at the salon. She later realised that she had left her bag behind and sent her son, who went with a motorcycle rider, to retrieve it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On reaching the salon, the boy reportedly knocked several times but received no response. He then informed the motorcycle rider, who checked the premises and discovered the two sisters unconscious, with foam reportedly visible around their mouths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The motorcycle rider raised an alarm, contacted the landlord, and reported the incident to the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police officers responded and commenced investigations. By the time officers arrived, the victims had already been taken to a hospital. After tracing their location, the police confirmed at the hospital that both women had died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Medical personnel informed investigators that prolonged exposure to generator fumes in an enclosed space could result in carbon monoxide poisoning, which may lead to unconsciousness and death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The police obtained statements from the customer who had earlier left the salon. However, some family members initially suspected foul play and questioned why the customer was not detained as a suspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To determine the actual cause of death, the family requested an autopsy. The result confirmed that the deaths were caused by inhalation of generator fumes and not food poisoning, as had been speculated on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the release of the autopsy report, the family accepted the findings and decided not to pursue further action.
