The applicant had approached the court alleging that his fundamental rights, as provided under the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, were violated by the respondents.

Through his legal counsel, Mr. Jude urged the court to declare that his constitutional rights had been infringed upon and requested the court to grant the reliefs contained in his application.

However, counsel representing the respondents challenged the claims, arguing that the applicant failed to provide sufficient evidence to establish any violation of his fundamental rights. They urged the court to dismiss the application for lacking merit.

In its judgment, the court held that the applicant was unable to prove the allegations raised against the respondents. The presiding judge stated that the evidence presented before the court was insufficient to establish that the applicant’s fundamental rights had been breached.

Consequently, the court dismissed the application in its entirety. The court record was endorsed with the statement: “Judgment delivered.
