Libraries and designated study areas recorded higher patronage, with many students studying late into the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several students described the examination period as demanding, noting that the pressure to meet academic expectations has increased significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 200-level student of Mass Communication, who identified herself as Becky, said she had adjusted her daily routine to create more time for revision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This is the period every student must take seriously. We spend long hours reading because we want good grades, but sometimes power outages and the shortage of reading spaces make it difficult,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similarly, a final-year Pharmacy student said many students now rely on personal generators, rechargeable lamps and solar lights to continue reading whenever electricity supply is interrupted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the challenges, he noted that students remain determined to perform well in their examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some students also appealed to the university management to improve facilities that support academic activities during examination periods. They called for extended library hours, more reading spaces, improved electricity supply and better internet connectivity to enhance learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">University officials encouraged students to remain focused, avoid examination malpractice and adhere strictly to examination regulations. They also advised candidates to arrive at examination venues early and ensure they possess all required identification documents before entering the halls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across Campuses I and II, examination activities continued peacefully as invigilators supervised the conduct of the examinations.
