{"id":2300,"date":"2026-07-26T01:02:53","date_gmt":"2026-07-26T00:02:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mediaconversation.com\/?p=2300"},"modified":"2026-07-26T01:02:54","modified_gmt":"2026-07-26T00:02:54","slug":"delsu-vc-moves-to-strengthen-fee-compliance-directs-students-to-submit-payment-receipts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mediaconversation.com\/?p=2300","title":{"rendered":"DELSU VC Moves to Strengthen Fee Compliance, Directs Students to Submit Payment Receipts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>By Confidence Igiebor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Vice Chancellor of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba, has intensified efforts to ensure compliance with the institution&#8217;s school fees policy by directing students to submit proof of payment for the 2025\/2026 academic session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The directive, conveyed through the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), followed a series of management meetings held to review the status of school fees payments across the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to an internal memorandum, the university management observed a high rate of default in the payment of school fees, a development it said could have serious financial implications for the institution if not addressed promptly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the new directive, all undergraduate and postgraduate students are required to submit their school fees payment receipts to their course advisers.
