As the advent of Artificial Intelligence and other technological innovations continue to shape education, business, healthcare and communication around the world, experts have called on Nigerians to embrace these technologies with open hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The experts specifically urged students to embrace AI technologies as tools for learning and innovation rather than seeing them as threats to their future careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the experts, Mr. Joseph Bassey, who majors in Biotechnology, described Artificial Intelligence as one of the greatest technological innovations of this generation, noting that students should see it as a learning aid rather than a replacement for human intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking with Media Conversation<\/strong> on the side-line of a creative summit held at Delta State University, Abraka, Bassey harped on the imperative of ethics in the deployment of AI, iterating that AI can improve research, problem-solving, and productivity when used responsibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He advised students to develop practical skills alongside their academic studies, stressing that critical thinking, creativity, and innovation remain qualities that cannot easily be replaced by technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While lending credence to Bassey, a technology educator and entrepreneur, Mr. Adebayo Ajayi also encouraged young people to embrace AI by learning how to use them effectively instead of displaying phobia and resentment over unfounded worried that AI would take away human jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Ajayi, those who understand and apply Artificial Intelligence responsibly will remain relevant in the rapidly evolving digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ajayi further noted that while AI can automate certain tasks, it cannot replace human originality, leadership, ethical judgment and emotional intelligence, urging students to continuously update their knowledge and acquire digital skills that will enable them to compete globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He maintained that Artificial Intelligence should be viewed as a tool for innovation and national development rather than a threat, calling on students to prepare themselves for a future where science and technology will continue to shape society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the Head of the Department of Cyber Security at Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Dr. John Atajeromavwo, has predicted that as data generation continues to increase globally, Machine Learning will remain a key driver of innovation, automation and intelligent decision-making across various sectors.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with\u00a0Media\u00a0<\/em>Conversation<\/mark>,\u00a0<\/strong>Atajeromavwo observed that Machine Learning is one of the most important branches of Artificial Intelligence (AI), calling on researchers and students to embrace these emerging technologies and contribute to global technological advancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
