A fashion entrepreneur and founder of Thea Atelier, Thelma, has disclosed that her brand served more than 30 clients this month despite challenges posed by the scarcity of fashion materials and the high cost of production in Abraka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fashion designer made this known during an interview in Abraka, stating that Thea Atelier, a female fashion brand specializing in bespoke, corporate and ready-to-wear outfits, has continued to attract patronage from students and other residents because of its commitment to quality craftsmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thelma said she officially started building the brand about one year and three months ago after gaining experience working with established fashion designers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to her, her passion for making beautiful dresses began at a young age and inspired her to establish her own fashion business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She explained that she chose to build the brand in Abraka because she is a student and has been able to develop a growing customer base within the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the fashion industry in Abraka, she said the town has only a few experienced fashion designers, creating opportunities for growth and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The designer identified the scarcity of fashion materials in Abraka as one of the biggest challenges facing her business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She explained that many of the fabrics and accessories needed for production are unavailable locally, forcing her to travel to Warri every month to purchase materials in bulk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added that the increasing cost of transportation and tailoring materials has also contributed to higher production expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on what distinguishes Thea Atelier from other fashion brands, Thelma said she prioritizes quality over quantity by taking time to ensure every outfit is carefully made to meet customers’ expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She stressed that fashion designers must continually learn and adapt to changing trends while maintaining high standards of workmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to her, students make up the majority of her customers, and their fashion preferences largely influence the type of outfits produced by Thea Atelier, with many requesting trendy outfits suitable for social events and everyday wear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Most of my clients are students,” she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“They like short, tight, revealing outfits.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added that understanding her customers’ preferences helps the brand meet their expectations while maintaining quality in every outfit produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also noted that the availability of quality fashion services within Abraka has reduced the need for many residents to order clothing from outside the town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although she currently operates without a physical shop and meets clients through private appointments, she disclosed plans to expand the business and establish a fashion academy where aspiring designers can receive professional training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She advised young people interested in fashion to remain focused on their goals, consistently promote their brands and build strong relationships with clients through good communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We make the best dresses,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
