{"id":3239,"date":"2026-08-10T04:30:07","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T03:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mediaconversation.com\/?p=3239"},"modified":"2026-08-10T04:30:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-10T03:30:09","slug":"police-arrest-suspected-kidnappers-linked-to-abraka-axis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mediaconversation.com\/?p=3239","title":{"rendered":"Police Arrest Suspected Kidnappers Linked To Abraka Axis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>By Ifeoma Ebigide<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Delta State Police Command Samuel Erale Etaifo has arrested several suspects allegedly involved in kidnapping and armed robbery activities in Abraka and neighbouring communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Command said the arrests were made following intelligence-led operations conducted by its Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad as part of ongoing efforts to tackle violent crime across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the police, preliminary investigations linked the suspects to a series of kidnapping and robbery incidents reported in Abraka, Obiaruku, Obinoba and other surrounding communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Items believed to be connected to the criminal activities of the suspects were recovered during the operations, the police disclosed, adding that investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Command further stated that efforts were underway to apprehend other members of the suspected gang who remain at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding lives and property, the police assured residents of sustained security patrols and intensified operations across affected areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also urged members of the public to provide timely and credible information that could aid law enforcement agencies in combating crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The arrests are expected to bolster ongoing security efforts aimed at curbing kidnapping and other violent crimes within the Abraka axis and its environs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ifeoma Ebigide The Delta State Police Command Samuel Erale Etaifo has arrested several suspects allegedly involved in kidnapping and armed robbery activities in Abraka and neighbouring communities.
