Some students of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, are living in uncertainty after a building occupied by tenants, including students, was marked for possible demolition following a land boundary dispute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The affected residents became worried after returning from classes to discover that a shop belonging to a resident identified as Mummy Princess and a small fence near the building had been demolished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The demolition followed a notice directing that part of the building should be moved backward or face further action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although no additional demolition has taken place, tenants say the remaining debris has created fear and uncertainty, especially because many occupants are students who cannot afford to become homeless midway through the academic session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She subsequently blocked access, claiming ownership of part of the space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Following the disagreement, Mr. Ajoke invited the police, leading to measurements of both properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to reports, the measurement showed that Mr. Ajoke’s property, including the shop and fence, corresponded with his land documents, while the neighbouring compound extended beyond the expected boundary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
