A disagreement over a passenger’s reserved seat at a motor park in Abraka, Delta State, escalated into a confrontation involving a commercial motorcycle rider and a bus driver, drawing the attention of bystanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a witness, Nelson, the incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Warri Park in Abraka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The witness said a traveller heading to Warri had paid for two seats on a commercial bus before briefly leaving to buy lunch, on his return, he discovered that another passenger had occupied one of the seats he had paid for, leading to a heated argument with the driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the disagreement attracted a crowd, a commercial motorcycle rider, who was not connected to either party, reportedly intervened and sided with the passenger, according to the witness, the rider insisted that the passenger had been treated unfairly and demanded that the matter be resolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The situation became more tense after the rider allegedly grabbed the driver by his shirt, and threatened to assault him before other drivers at the park intervened to separate them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the affected passenger reportedly accepted an alternative seat on another vehicle and left the scene, but the motorcycle rider continued arguing with the driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Witnesses said the rider threatened to take legal action against the driver and the motor park management, a remark that reportedly drew mixed reactions from people at the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The confrontation continued until the park chairman arrived and ordered that the rider be removed from the premises, he was later escorted away by several men despite resisting and insisting that justice should be served.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No injuries or arrests were reported, and normal activities later resumed at the motor park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
